and EX-5r-c IP 5GHz EX-r-series radios. The

New Features
Spectrum Analyzer
The spectrum
analyzer feature provides the ability to perform a spectrum analysis of the RF
environment on either end of the link. Combined
with the unique variable channel bandwidth and 1MHz frequency tuning features
already available in all r-series radios, the Exalt spectrum analyzer feature
is an ideal tool to help find even the narrowest, unused spectrum in the most
challenging interference environments. Having
the ability to perform this analysis directly on the radio eliminates the need
for expensive spectrum analyzers and is not only useful at the time of installation,
it can also help troubleshoot connections when errored-seconds or outages are
detected.
VLAN (802.1q) support
This feature provides the ability for the 5GHz r-series
radios to actively participate in a VLAN-aware network. Various configuration modes are available.
Throughput Asymmetry Control
This feature
supports applications requiring consistently higher throughput in one specific
direction, such as video surveillance, video or audio broadcasting, or high
speed one-way file transfer. Five
asymmetry configuration modes are available for the highest flexibility while
providing high throughput capacity and unparalleled spectral efficiency. This
feature operates with ExaltSync™ GPS, and also provides the unique ability to
transport asymmetric IP data while providing multiple T1/E1 support with low
and consistent latency performance.
128 and 256 AES Encryption
Available in 128 bit or 256 bit options, AES provides the
highest encryption capability available today.
Designed to complement the link security feature already available in
all Exalt radios, AES provides additional security and is available in 128bit
or 256bit software licensed key options.
