Telerad 600 Repeaters Systems
Shared Repeater with Telephone Interconnect
The Telerad 600 repeater system combines a telephone interconnect and shared repeater into one small package. The Telerad 600 repeater system provides the logic and control circuits to interface together a transmitter, receiver, and telephone system for all types of calls: phone-to-mobile, mobile-to-phone, and mobile-to-mobile. Inexpensive CICSS/DCS handheld mobile radios may be used for selective signaling, so there’s no need for expensive two-tone or DTMF decoders. The telephone interconnect portion of the products enables radio users to place and receive phone calls. Each of up to 150 users may be allowed or denied access to the telephone line. Dispatch (repeater) operation is also supported. A dispatch user may simply key up and speak through the repeater to the rest of the user group, and other groups’ radios remain silent. There is no need for connect codes and disconnect codes. In fact, DTMF pads are not necessary for dispatch operation.
